The Open Forum is a segment where callers are invited to phone in with stories or opinions about a named topic rather than the usual advice questions. It occurs during every show starting at the halfway point (approximately 11:00PM Pacific Time on the live broadcast) and runs for two segments, with the show returning to the regular advice format afterward.
Topics are extremely varied and can include requests for humerous stories such as sexual injuries or embarrassing moments, statement of preferences such as unorthodox celebrity crushes or strange pornography, or opinions about a topic such as gay marriage or even the show itself.
